NS-HD01 HD Radio Portable Radio Reviews
I experienced the short battery life, but find it perfect for 3 days worth of jogging. My quibble (minor) is more with the battery meter. It goes from full, to 2/3 to dead. No biggie, just recharge after a few hours use.br /br /Also, I couldn't get the presets to work on the secondary and tertiary HD stations. It gave the appearance of accepting them but just reserved three presets for the primary station. No big deal.br /br /You might want to check your area's HDness. I was surprised that such an affluent place as Walnut Creek, CA had no HD stations available. Ditto Naples FL.br /br /One upgrade I'd love to see in HD radio, in general, would a minimal digital recorder or at least a pause, rewind and fast forward. No 10 GB storage, just something to hold the last hour so that if you are interrupted, you can catch up. And FF the commercials:-)br /

it's small and handy but doesn't pick up as many stations as my car - Julian Borrowdale - Sacramento, CA, USA
You can get the radio stations that broadcast a second signal in HD, which is good, but there is no place for an external antenna, which would make this a much superior product. I use this at home to, and plug it into my self system. Didn't want an ipod with all the extra stuff on it - already got a zune. Just wanted a regular HD radio, and had my choice between giant expensive tuner/shelf system and this.
