It also features a 4:3 aspect ratio that enables you to watch widescreen, high-definition programming (1080i/720p/480p/480i) when connected to an optional receiver or cable/satellite set-top box via the component video inputs. You can also use this set as a PC monitor via the VGA connection. In addition to playing standard DVD movie and CD audio discs, it's also compatible with playing DVD-R/RW and CD-R/RW discs. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY A TV WITH A SEPERATE DVD PLAYER. FROM ANY ANGLE BUT DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF THIS TV YOU HAVE TROUBLE SEEING THE PICTURE. MY AUDIOVOX DVD TV BROKE AFTER 4 MONTHS AND YOU HAVE TO SHIP IT AT YOUR COST TO A COMPANY IN BUFFALO, NY. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER AUDIOVOX PRODUCT IN THIS LIFETIME.
